“THRIFTERS” Directed, produced, written, filmed, and edited by Connor McFarlane screened in theaters across southeast Idaho for several weeks. The film became a community event, gathering film and thrifting enthusiasts from across the region.Winner of Best Comedy and Best Director at the AltFF Film Festival, and official selection at Zion Indie Film Fest and Spark of Madness Film Fest

Connor McFarlane has made many short films, and received three Student Emmy Awards for “Chapsaway” “Compulsion” and “Song of Solitude.” He also recieved “Best Northwest Film Award” at TRIFI for his film “The Uptown”

“SWERV The Movie” was the directorial debut of Connor McFarlane who also produced, wrote, filmed, and edited it when he was 18 years old. It sold out 8 theaters opening night, and led to more student films being screened at the theater in Tri Cities, WA.
